The Scottish Baptist College is a small friendly Christian College with all the resources of a University.
We are situated within the Paisley campus of the ‘University of the West of Scotland’. The University is the awarding body for our qualifications. Through the courses offered and our general College life we seek to hold together: academic excellence, practical training and personal spiritual development.
Committed to the Christian Church, the College seeks to prepare people for ministry and mission whatever their particular roles in Church and society.
A range of courses, delivered in a modular format, offer flexibility in study routes with occasional, part-time and full-time options all available.
A variety of teaching methods, with a well resourced library, personal support and small classes, combine to provide a learning environment second to none.
The full-time members of academic staff are highly qualified ordained ministers with pastoral experience and contagious enthusiasm. Additional teaching by part-time module co-ordinators, who tend to be in full-time pastoral ministry or chaplaincy, adds to students’ experience of relevant and stimulating formation.
While we have strong links with the Baptist Union of Scotland and the majority of students at the College come from a Baptist background we also have, welcome and accept students from other backgrounds.
We hope that his site will provide you with information about us, the courses we offer, and the possibilities for your own study.
You are invited to contact the College to find out more information or to arrange a meeting with a member of staff who will be happy to discuss your particular needs and aspirations.
