The Scottish Baptist College is a registered charity, SC016819. As an independent College it receives no public funding or direct giving from the Baptist Union of Scotland. In addition to fees and to income from investments it depends, therefore on the giving of individuals and churches to sustain its activities.
Over the years the College has benefited from regular giving, one-off gifts, and legacies from individuals. Such individuals are those who have benefited from and or who have seen the value of a high quality education in a Christian context with a focus on church based contextual ministry. As with Churches, therefore, we encourage individuals to consider giving to the College.
Sometimes the College may have special need or project that would benefit from direct giving. More normally, however, the College would benefit greatly from giving to its general fund which sustains the day by day, week by week teaching and training of people particularly for ministry in Baptist Churches in Scotland.
